Leisurefurl Material Options
Only the highest quality materials are used in the construction of Leisurefurl booms. Owners and designers can select carbon or alloy booms.
Carbon shells are laminated from the Leisure furl female mould incorporating, aft bulkhead and support bracket. Finished in Awlgrip to match owner's colours.
Alloy shells comprise fabricated extrusion incorporating structural bulkheads, external support bracket and aft bearing spigot for mandrel support. Coating options include anodised or Awlgrip finish to match owner,s colours.
We are also happy to customise booms to specification, with features like recessed lights, integrated sail covers, boom ‘crane’ extensions to assist in launching and retrieving tenders, custom mainsheet systems, special fittings etc.
